Linda Nasevich Obituary

Linda J. Nasevich a lifelong resident of Mount Cobb, Jefferson Twp., died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center. She married her childhood sweetheart, Francis Nasevich, until his death, Feb. 2, 1977.

Born in Jessup, daughter of the late Adam and Annunciata Anelli Alunni. She graduated from Lake Ariel High School.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt whose family was the center of her life. She was considered a hard worker and generous person who was an accomplished cook, baker and gardener. Her flower gardens reflected her passion for nature. Linda found joy in her life by serving others. It would be nothing for her to bake dozens and dozens of cookies for a wedding or cakes and breads for holidays. Her homemade Italian dishes were family favorites for family gatherings.

In 1982, she and her daughter, Karen Condefer, opened "Bright Beginnings Preschool," in her home, and for the next 32 years her life was full and fun-filled. She is greatly missed.

Linda's family would like to thank the staff at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center for their care and attention.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen Condefer and husband, Paul; Cathy Zemek and husband, Rick; grandson, Eric Zemek and wife, Amy; three granddaughters, Dr. Kelly Condefer and husband, Chris DiPietro; Jill Zayac and husband, MJ; and Lindsay Condefer and Sean Keane; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by six brothers, Aurelio, Attilio, Mickey, Walter, Alfred and John Alunni; sister, Ada Ragnacci.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 5, at 10 a.m. in St Eulalia's Church, 214 Blue Shutters Road, Roaring Brook Twp. Everyone attending the funeral is asked to proceed directly to church. Interment to follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted and are under the care of the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup. There will be no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

I can say Aunt Linda lived a very full life. She was always busy doing something. From making sure everyone was feed to being so silly at times. She was full of life. You could find her shoveling snow off her roof to planting flowers on her hill. Don't let me forget that she was an awesome cook and baker. We all loved her dearly. We will miss you Aunt Linda( Great Aunt Linda to me) My mother's Aunt. You all are up there in heaven now. I pray you all are together laughing and picking on each other LOL.. Dear Nasevich Family Karen and Cathy I pray for you all that God is with you all during this hard time. I still have all those wonderful memories we all made together when we were younger. God Bless Love Faye

So sorry to hear about "Mrs. Savage". Her kindness to all our children will never be forgotten. May we all remember her wisdom regarding Kraft Handi snacks cheese and crackers..."Don't stick your fingers in that cheese, it will make them stink".
