Louise M. Bright of New Hope, Pa., passed away at her residence Monday, Nov. 29, 2021. She was 76.

Born in Scranton, Pa., to the late Richard and Verna (Rutherford) Booth, Louise resided in Scranton and Cape Cod, Mass., before moving to New Hope in 2007.

She was formerly employed as a business manager with the Palumbo Group of Scranton for 30 years, retiring in 2013. Louise was a member of St. Martin of Tours Church of New Hope and also enjoyed golfing, biking and animals. She graduated from Scranton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1984.

She was the devoted wife of Robert W. Bright; dear sister of Sheila Smith, Donald Booth (Mary) and the late Robert and Richard Booth; loving aunt of Aimie Goldman (Scott), Geoffrey Smith; cherished grand-aunt of Evan and Maggie Goldman; also survived by several other nieces and nephews in the Scranton area.

Cremation services will be private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 N. Main St., Doylestown, PA 18901.
