Margaret Pacuilli Obituary

Margaret "Peggy" Pacuilli, 62, of Madison Township, died Wednesday shortly after arrival at Community Medical Center. Her husband of 43 years is William Pacuilli.

Born in Jamaica, Long Island, N.Y., daughter of the late Thomas and Esther Morrison Lamb, she was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church. A graduate of South Catholic High School and Empire Beauty School, she continued to become a certified nurse's aide and worked at St. Mary's Villa and later as a private duty nurse's aide.

Peggy was a truly loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose family was the center of her universe. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling in their RV, working on ceramics, watching shows on the Food Network and "Jeopardy!" She will be very deeply missed but always fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Also surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Murray, Madison Township; and Traci Weidow and husband, Sean, Spring Brook Township; a son, Christopher Pacuilli, Madisonville; eight grandchildren, Heather and Jamie Murray, Moscow; Shelby and Tristan Weidow, Spring Brook Township; and Ashlee, Kristi, Kayla and Taylor Pacuilli, all of Old Forge; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Marie McMahon; and a brother, Thomas Lamb.

The funeral will be Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave., with Mass at 10 in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Church Street, Moscow, to be celebrated by the Rev. Michael Finn, pastor. Interment, St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.

I can still picture Peggy as a young teenager. She and my sister Jacqueline Walsh Lucke were the best of friends. Peggy spent time at our old homestead at 342 Neptune Place. We were all kids and had great hopes for all the good things that life would bring to us. Its apparent to all that Peggy accomplished a lot during her lifetime. My condolences to her family and friends.
