I grew up with Matt on Bell Mtn. There was a long path through the woods(made by our little feet)from my backyard to his. On that path we would set up bottles & cans to perfect our aim with our homemade slingshots. Later we would talk alot about music & play very little guitar. We used to make each other laugh at our poor attempt at humor. Later in life our paths would cross time and time again and we would refresh our memories. My wife had the pleasure of meeting Matt when they ended up working for the same construction company years later and she would get to appreciate my childhood friend as much as I did. I'm sorry our paths didn't cross more often and we will both miss him. Deepest condolences to all.

My sympathies are with you both. I am so sad to hear of my dear friends passing. We shared our birthdate together and that was forever my memory of him. Every BD , I knew he was thinking of me too. Matt is at rest now. Thou that doesn't ease your pain. I will pray for you. I will remember Matt dearly . He was loved. And he loved you both so much.
