Michael Zaikowski, 40, passed away suddenly Dec. 29, 2020, after a brief battle with cancer.
He was the son of Jan Zaikowski and Susan Pastir Jaffe and husband, Dale. He was preceded in death by brothers, Eric and Dane Zaikowski; maternal grandparents, Edward and Irene Kichner Pastir; and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Margaret Borushak Zaikowski.
Michael was born Dec. 8, 1980. He graduated from West Scranton High School and was a United States Navy veteran with a medical discharge. He was employed by Five Guys in Dickson City, a gun enthusiast and enjoyed riding dirt bikes.
He is survived by brother, Richard Pastir; sister, Annastauszia Zaikowski; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank the ER and oncology staff for the care he received.
