Michelle "Shelly" Marie Sheridan, Dalton, passed away Tuesday at her home.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Mary Lipinski Rybnick. She was the wife of Brian Sheridan, whom she spent 42 loving years with after being married on Oct. 10, 1981.
A warm, gentle soul with a heart of gold and a contagious laugh that will forever echo in our hearts; Shelly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend with an unwavering faith in God. Her gift of fiercely loving her husband, children and grandchildren made her who she was. She lived for others, and her memory will forever be cherished by the lives that she has touched.
Shelly was a caregiver in career and throughout life, and will now rest in God's arms.
Along with her husband she is survived by a son, Colin Patrick Sheridan and his wife, Amber, Newton Twp.; a daughter, Jessica Ann Bickler and her husband, Brandon, Glenburn; grandchildren, Adalynn and Jaxyn Sheridan, and Brady and Brooks Bickler; a sister, Mary Ann Waichulis, Wilkes-Barre; brothers, Joseph Rybnick, Nicholson; Richard Rybnick, Olyphant and Lanny Rybnick, Scranton; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Brian J. Sheridan Jr. in 2006.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit, Pa. All those attending Mass are asked to go directly to church. Shelly and I were childhood best friends, and though we didn't see each other much in later years, the special memories of those early years never go away. My friend, May Flights of Angels Sing Thee to Thy Rest. With deepest condolences to all of the Sheridan and Rybnick families, Diane Ludka

We are so sorry for your loss. Shelly was a warm wonderful person that had an open heart. I have such cherished memories of her but my fondest is the way she wrapped me in her hug regardless of how long it was since we´d seen each other, a year, a week or a day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love you always Shell Terr
