Nancy Corrigan, 88, of Whites Crossing, died Saturday at Allied Services Hospice, Scranton. She was the widow of James "Bud" Corrigan, who died April 7, 2001. The couple had been married for 47 years.
Born in Whites Crossing, daughter of the late James and Julia Arthur Williamson, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Carbondale. She was a graduate of Fell Twp. High School, class of 1950. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a ward secretary at the former Carbondale General Hospital. She had been previously employed by the A&P Supermarket and the former Banner Slipper Company, Honesdale. Nancy loved to cook and bake. She also greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are a son, Kevin Corrigan and wife, Alice, Carbondale; two granddaughters, Shannon and Brittany Corrigan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James, John and Robert Williamson; and two sisters: Dorothy Mucha and Ruth Manarchuck.
The funeral will be Wednesday with services at 10 a.m. in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale. Interment, Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart.
