Ned Posluszny, 50, a resident of Throop, Pa., died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 7. Born March 13, 1970, he was the son of the late Edward Posluszny Jr.
He was a 1988 graduate of Bishop O'Hara High School and a 1992 graduate of the University of Scranton with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Ned held sales positions most of his career and was most currently employed as a sales manager for Weedman Lawn Care Services.
He is survived by the three loves of his life: his wife of 15 years, Mary Beth (Vidal); and his two dogs, Sonny and Gracie, of Throop; brother, Dave and wife, Maureen Posluszny, of Spring Brook Twp.; brothers-in-law, Steve Vidal, of Throop; and Ron Vidal, California; nieces and cousins.
Ned enjoyed spending time with his family, he loved his motorcycle, skiing and talking to people. Most of all, he loved his yellow lab, Sonny and beagle lab mix, Gracie; and his nieces, Lauren and Eileen Posluszny.
He loved to travel and go on road trips for good food with his wife MB and brother-in-law, Steve Vidal.
A loyal and loving husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend, he will be truly missed by all who knew him. Ned also loved to tell stories about the times he spent with his Dad, his Dzdiazi and his aunt, Carol Fick, who he loved dearly and is now with in heaven.
Ned was preceded in death by his dad, Edward Posluszny Jr.; grandparents, Edward Sr. (Dzdiazi) and Genevieve Posluszny; and grandparents, Stephen and Margaret Kocsis.
Friends may call Sunday, July 26, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 445 Sanderson St., Throop, Pa. The service will be at 4:30, officiated by Deacon Joe Wrabel, cousin of the deceased and a source of comfort and grace for the family. Masks and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Rescue, 967 Griffin Pond Road, South Abington Twp., PA 18411.

Sadly heard the news.Will always remember our hike in a snowstorm up to Tuckermans Revine on Mount Washington.This was one of the best memories in my life .Rest in peace my friend .
