Pamela Boland Obituary

Pamela Boland of Mechanicsburg, Pa., born Oct. 3, 1935, passed away on July 8, 2024. She enjoyed a long, successful career in hospital administration yet always made her family the priority.

Pamela pursued her education while raising her three daughters and went on to receive a master's in public administration from Pennsylvania State University. Her first vice president position was in patient services at Allentown Osteopathic Medical Center in 1985. She went on to hold many senior positions after that in various locations such as Reading, Pa. and Jersey City, N.J.

Pamela is predeceased by her parents, Martin and Pamelia Butler of Archbald, Pa., the town where she grew up. Pamela always enjoyed returning to the Scranton area to see family. She is also predeceased by brothers, Martin and Arthur Butler; and sisters, Carolyn Lane (Jack) and Katherine Butler. She is survived by her three daughters and respective sons-in law, Katherine Toy (Mike), Pamela MacKinnon (Al), and Michele Holloway (Tom). She is cherished by her six grandchildren, Melissa Mendoza (husband Alexis), Kevin MacKinnon, Michael Toy, Amy MacKinnon, Connor Holloway and Abby Holloway. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews.

Service is private.
