Patricia Bujake Obituary
Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Szymaszek Laskowsky Chervanka. She was a graduate of St. Rose High School, Carbondale. Patricia worked as a secretary at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and Farview State Hospital, Waymart, before retirement.
She loved to spend time with her family, John Paul Gorel, Jamie Lee White and Jennifer Kulick. Patricia especially loved spending time and entertaining their children, Julia, Johnny, Taylor, Quinn, Liam and Layne. She enjoyed crocheting, her computer and an occasional trip to the casino. She resided in Binghamton for a number of years before returning to her hometown. She was a lifetime member of the VFW of Johnson City, N.Y.
The family would like to thank Dr. M. Haley and his staff, Dr. F. Manahan, the staff of DaVita Childs, Carbondale Nursing Home and the staff of Geisinger CMC for their compassionate care.
She is survived by sisters, Joan Gorel and husband, John; Shawne Barrese and husband, Bruce; Alicia Carlo and husband, Silvio; Janet Calzola and husband, Doug; a brother, Joseph Chervanka; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patricia was preceded in death by her infant twin daughters, Tricia and Tara.
A blessing service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Oliver Shifler & Scotchlas Funeral Home Inc., 62 N. Main St., Carbondale. Interment will be in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.

I remember Pat from the VFW Aux. 2332 in Johnson City N.Y. She always was willing to help us with our many projects. RIP Pat.

I knew Pat when she lived in Binghamton. She was a great person, a hard worker, and willing to help others. My condolences to her family. Reading Pat's obituary reminded me that we should get to know more about a person's history when they are alive. It's been more than 25 years since I last saw Pat, but she left a lasting impression.

Pat was a Past President of the VFW Aux. 2332 in Johnson City N.Y. and a Life member. She was definitely a worker for the VFW Aux. RIP Pat.

Though I didn't know you a long time, you have made a lasting impression I will carry on forever, wish we could have shared Long John Silvers one last time or another cook-out, but glad I was able to see you on my birthday.
