He was an avid fisherman in his free time, enjoyed his Friday night Old Forge football games, cherished his weekly breakfasts with his friends, but most of all, loved spending quality time with his family. Pete also proudly served his nation in the United States Army and was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Old Forge prior to its closure.
Peter will be greatly missed by his daughter, Lisa Sobuta, and her partner Jeff Luther; his grandchildren, Anthony Semyon, and Justin McDonald, and wife Erin McDonald; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Allied Services Hospice for the care and compassion given to Peter and his family during this time.
