Peter Solomon Obituary
Born in Jermyn on Oct. 25, 1937, son of the late Peter and Anna Morrell Solomon, he was a member of Christ the King Parish, Archbald. He graduated form Ben Franklin High School, Carbondale, class of 1955. He was a retired employee of General Dynamics, Eynon, where he was an inspector. He was a Third Degree member of the Knight of Columbus, Carbondale, and was an avid golfer and NASCAR fan and enjoyed traveling with his wife.
Also surviving are three sons, Joseph, Gary and David Solomon, all of Archbald; a brother, Joseph Solomon, Newton Twp.; two granddaughters, Sarah and Kathryn; two great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Addison; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Harrison Funeral Home, 374 N. Main St., Archbald, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald, with the Rev. Christopher Sahd officiating. Interment, St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Archbald.
Friends may call Monday, 5 to 8 p.m.
