Rebecca Lee Evans, 44, Florida, formerly of Scranton, died unexpectedly Sept. 10, 2022, at her home in Ft. Lauderdale.
Born May 22, 1978, in Scranton, she was the daughter of Deborah Rohulich McLean and her husband, Thomas, of Boynton Beach, Fla.
She was a 1996 graduate of Dunmore High School and worked locally as a bartender and server.
Also surviving are her son, Matthew Thomas Hodgins and his girlfriend, Kayla Mecca of Archbald; daughter, Myah Mellisa Entrot of Scranton; sisters, Melissa Evans Berman and husband, Brent of Lighthouse Point, Fla., and Desiree Evans of Pennsylvania; brothers, Jacob McLean and wife, Krystal and Joseph McLean, all of Florida; an aunt, Linda Rohulich of Nicholson; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her father, Mark Evans; maternal grandparents, John and Bessie Rohulich; and paternal grandparents, Tom and Lillian Evans.
A celebration of Rebecca's life will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. at Waverly Sportsmans Club, 308 Newcomb Road, Factoryville, PA 18419.
The family invites family and friends to come and celebrate Rebecca's life and share what made Rebecca a special part of your life.
