Sal was not only a phenomenal instructor, but perhaps unbeknown to him, was the common thread that allowed a tapestry of friendships and bonds to grow across multiple grade and age levels that continues to this very day. He was always for the student, and made the student feel to be an important part of the band/orchestra. He showed his appreciation back in the day with the band banquets, Rocky Glen field trips, and what appeared to be at the time his biggest thrill, playing at the Phillies game in '76. Always seemed to have a smile on his face. May his soul be at peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I attended grade school with Sal at St. Anthony's. I then worked with Sal as a music teacher at Dunmore High School shortly after college graduation. His kindness, smile and sense of humor were constant. I had the pleasure of seeing him earlier this year in Las Vegas where we talked about old times. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Sal taught me music theory which has benefited me to this day. Being part of the Dunmore High School band, chorus and in more recent years, the DHS Music Boosters, Sal was always there to influence me. He was a mentor and friend. My deepest sympathy to the Graci family.

I knew Sal as a music teacher when I was a student. I also had the privilege of working with him for several years. He was a kind man with a great love for music. I will never forget our coffee clatch at the elementary center.
