Dear John and family,
I send you my sincere condolences on the passing of Shirley. We worked together at the Julian Curtiss school for eighteen years. She as a kindergarten teacher and me as the principal. I always found Shirley to be such a happy woman who loved her family and students. With sympathy, Nancy Carbone

Dear Jack:
My heart is breaking for you. I realized yesterday that I thought of both of you everyday while living next door. I loved Shirley, her smile and her cheerfulness and her sense of humor. When she came to our bible study a few years ago, we prayed with her and she was comfortable with all of us and with the truth of the scriptures. She had the one hope that is our salvation.I will miss her very much. God bless all of you.

Dear McHugh family. I am very sorry for your loss. I knew Shirley's sister Dorcas. We met at Lake Sheridan in 1941. She was my girl friend briefly but I had to enter the service during the war and she met her husband at college. They lived on Lansdown ave. That was a long time ago. I often wondered what happened to her. You may contact me at [email protected]. Sincerely Walter Kunz. Dunmore Pa.
