Stanley Miezejewski Obituary
Stanley P. Miezejewski III passed away at age 42 on Feb. 9, 2022, after a short illness.
He was raised in Scranton, Pa.
Stanley is survived by his father, Stanley P. Miezejewski Jr.; stepmother, Karen Miezejewski; grandmother, Shirley Miezejewski; uncle, Robert Miezejewski and wife, Cindy; aunt, Kathleen Melliand and husband, James; numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Chickey Miezejewski; grandfather, Stanley P. Miezejewski Sr.; and grandparents, Leo and Louisa Chickey.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday from the Palermo & Zawacki Funeral Home Inc., 409 N. Main St., Old Forge, with the Rev. August Ricciardi officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Old Forge.
Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

So sorry to hear this. Stanley was such a sweet guy and an absolute pleasure to work with. I am glad to have had the pleasure of getting to know him and experience the sweet and gentle nature of his beautiful soul. Rest in peace big guy!
