I wanted to express my condolences to Joe, his mother, Rosemary and his sisters on the loss of their dear father and husband, Terry. I have heard tell of his uncommon artistic talent, and that he gave this talent back to God by his extensive work for the local Roman Catholic diocese and its' many churches. The many priests who I understand came to serve at his funeral, led in prayer by Bishop James Timlin, were indeed a testimony to this; showed respect to his memory and to his family, and offered a well-deserved thank you to him from the church. May his Memory be Eternal!

In that I am out of town, I am unable to pay my respects to Mr Gallagher in person. I have known Terry G for over 30 years as a result of a lasting friendship with his son, Joseph. Over the course of those many years, I found him to consistently be a gentle man, in the truest sense of the word; as well as intelligent, quick-witted, ever curious, patient, humble, and above all, remarkably talented. Although he lived a good, long life, nevertheless parting with a father and a husband is never easy, and so I offer to his family, one and all, my deepest sympathy. May the Good Lord be merciful to his soul, and may he Rest in Peace, and Rise in Glory!

I am sorry for your loss, although I did not know Mr. Gallagher. I believe I may be related to him. My grandmother was Margaret Gallagher Clark, and she had a brother named Terrence. I believe Terrence Gallagher, Sr. was my grandmother's brother. My grandmother lived on Albright Ave, Scranton, for many years. She had three sons: Frank, John, and Thomas (aka "Tubby"). I am John's son, and I live in Poughkeepsie, NY. You may contact me on line at [email protected] or by calling me at (845) 242-2616. I would love to hear from a family member.
