Theresa Cecelia Pavlowski

Theresa Cecelia Pavlowski, age 83, longtime resident of Dickson City, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at Allied Hospice. She was the widow of Leo W. Pavlowski Sr., who died on Dec. 7, 2015.

Born in Dickson City on Sept. 10, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Stanely and Agnes Pacanowski Dombrowski. A graduate of Dickson City High School, Theresa was formerly employed as a seamstress and lovingly spent her lifetime being a homemaker.

Known for her artistic talents, beautiful floral gardens, her vast collection of angel figurines and art, her talented sewing skills as well as her great love of reading, Theresa had a strong devotion to St. Jude Thaddeus. Of utmost importance in Theresa's life was her family. She loved with all of her heart and treasured the love she received in return. Realizing the value of education, she ensured that all of her children and grandchildren achieved the highest levels of education possible. Her unconditional love for all, her patience and her selfless ability to give to others will never be forgotten.

There is survived by her two sons, Jan Pavlowski and wife, Debbie; and Leon and wife, Chery; as well as three daughters, Susan Burney and husband, Vincent; Laura Pavlowski and Theresa Meinert and husband, Todd; her cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Jillian and Dennis Mishko and wife, Kathleen; Vincent, Alex and Joshua Burney and wife, Sara; Erika and Jan Pavlowski; Allison and Jessica Pavlowski; and Amanda and Evan Meinert; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services were held on Friday, Sept. 21, from the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home, 445 Sanderson St., Throop, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. Burial, Parish Cemetery.
