Thomas W. Henry, 84, of Carbondale, died Monday evening at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. His wife is the former Gail Chubb. The couple had been married for 59 years.
Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Elmer and Bernice Hunter Henry. Tom was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. Tom had served in the Navy. He had been employed before retirement by the D.G. Nicholas Company in sales.
Tom had attended the Berean Baptist Church, Carbondale.
He is also survived by a son, Gary, Carbondale, a granddaughter, Elizabeth and nieces.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William and a sister, Jean Pugh.
A funeral service will be conducted Monday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. in the Oliver Shifler & Scotchlas Funeral Home Inc., 62 N. Main St., Carbondale, by the Rev. Jay Best.
Friends may call Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity in Tom's name.
