Ann Kandell Obituary
Carsonville
Ann F. Kandell, age 79, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Port Huron.
She was born February 27, 1934 in Ferndale, daughter of the late Les and Ann (Neeson) Davis.
Ann worked for Carsonville-Port Sanilac Schools for 38 years, starting as a playground aid, teachers aid, and ending as a kitchen helper at the age of 75. She also spent 18 years as an EMT for the Carsonville Ambulance. She loved her family and was a very thoughtful and caring person. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her children John (Maryann) Kandell, Janet Makarewicz (Dan Nichols) and Ronald (Linda) Kandell and Susan Bucher; her grandchildren: Julie Wessel, Tina Kandell, Robbie Kandell, Brian Makarewicz, Kristine Makarewicz, Ron Kandell, Mike Kandell, Chuck Burns, Steven Burns and Kat Jones; 11 great grandchildren; a brother Les (Mary Lee) Davis and sisters Mary Heberling and Grace (Mert) Young.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Carsonville. The Rev. David Barnes, pastor of the Carsonville U. Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Washington Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m.Wednesday.
