My name is Kim Maxfield. Even though I didn’t know Mr. Hodge personally, I wanted to offer my sincere, deepest sympathy for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers. Beginning at 4:30 pm, on Saturday, November 14th, my church is hosting a free seminar entitled, “Surviving the Holidays” that will give you practical suggestions, advice and support on how to navigate though this storm in your life. Free childcare will be provided, as well as, a free complimentary dinner at 6:00 pm. Dear Dot, Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your husband Bud. My mother is Audrey Park, and I have heard about "Dot and Bud" my entire life. Mom passed away on April 10, 2009, and I know that it would make her smile for me to send you this message. She always considered you such a good friend. Again, my sincere sympathy to you and your family.

So sad to find this in your paper. i first met Bud when we both worked for Chrysler ,in Marysville. that would have been in the 1941 plus era. Both just out of High School. It has been a long time since i heard any thing about Bud or Dot. My heartfelt sympathy to Dot and her family.
