Constance Przedwojewski Obituary

Constance Sylvia Przedwojewski Kenockee Township Constance Sylvia Przedwojewski, 66, after a long illness passed away, Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Blue Water Hospice House, Marysville. She was born in Detroit, January 2, 1947, the daughter of the late Ed and Sophia (Maziarz) Wilk. Her marriage to William Przedwojewski was August 17, 1968 at St. Louis the King Church, Detroit. "Connie" was a parishioner of both Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Emmett and Holy Family Parish, Memphis, and a member of The Servants of Jesus of the Divine Mercy, East Pointe. Connie spent her childhood in Detroit and moved to Kenockee Township after her marriage in 1968. She was a teacher for 23 years at St. Mary Catholic School, St. Clair and St. Christopher Catholic School, Marysville, before her retirement in 2009. Connie was the family seamstress, a former 4-H sewing instructor and liked knitting, reading and her daily prayer time. She enjoyed spending any time with her grandchildren, including all events they were involved with. Surviving in addition to Bill, her husband of 44 years, are three daughters, Debra Wiczorek, Cynthia (David) Koepf and Michele (Keith) Kecskes, all of Kenockee Township; seven grandchildren, Melany, Sarah, Alana, Riley, Sean, Luke and Grace; two brothers, Lawrence (Pam) Wilk of Sterling Heights and Gregory Wilk of Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Pete Bloomster and Mary and John Hughes, brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Nancy Przedwojewski as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. The family honors the memory of Connie and invite you to visit and share memories Sunday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, with rosary devotion at 7:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Emmett with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Fr. Tom Kuehnemund, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-Kenockee Cemetery, Kenockee Township. Connie was one of the best teachers I ever had the privilege of working with. Every student Connie had loved her. The faculty and staff loved working with her. Her lesson plans were the envy of all the other teachers. She was a wonderful role model for parents, teachers and students. She will be missed.

She will be missed by us; if there was one teacher that my girls still talk about is Mrs. P. her loving ways she had with the children at St. Marys. Connie we will miss you.

Mrs. P. was my teacher in the 3rd grade at St. Mary's. She was my favorite teacher! Through the years when I saw her at differnt events I could always count on a hug!! She will be greatly missed.
