Dear Shelly,Lisa,MaryPaul,and family,
I have lost a friend and mother as you all have for she was both to me. Denise was a loving, caring, fun, and special lady. She taught me alot and will forever be with me in spirit and thoughts.I will never forget her unique laugh and gentle ways. Loss saddens us. Hope comforts us. Love heals us. In the days ahead, may we all feel the healing warmth of Denise's love for all of us.

To my loving Aunt Denise. Thank you for being you. For listening to me over the years, and just loving me for who I was. I can't put into words what you have been to me, and how you have impacted my entire family. It is painful right now, but in time we will laugh, and remember what you did with us - and be happy for all of it. The moments are so many I keep having flashes that make me think of your daughters, who loved you sooo much. We will always take care of each other, and for that love we have of each other we owe our appreciation to you for making the cousin love so strong. Thank you Aunt Denise for being you. Port Huron lost a friend in the death of Denise Young this past week. You only had to meet Denise once to appreciate what this wonderful woman was all about.Her friendship was as real as her laughter.Oh how she loved Port Huron --- Pine Grove Park, Palmer Park, Lakeside Beach and Light House Park were her playgrounds in her youth. Denise would do anything for you. She was like that. Her daughters, Lisa, Michelle "Red" and Mary Paul had such a beautiful love for their mother. We'll never forget the Christmas Eves when Denise and Lisa, "Red" and Mary Paul shared special times with our family. Denise and our daughter, Jeri Lynn "The Frog" Towsley had one of those relationships born in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with Denise's daughters. And because of their mother, Denise, they all are exceptional women today. Strong in character, strong in love, strong in their Faith --- just like their mother. God bless you Denise Young.

Dear Lisa, Michelle, MaryPaul and family,
We are very sorry for the loss of your Mom. Denise held a very special place in my life as she was the mom of my dear friends and she treated me as one of her own. The memories we share will keep her spirit bright for many many years for she was a hoot to say the least!!!! All who knew Denise will remember her with admiration for her strength in raising her girls on her own. She did a good job!
