Gordon McConnachie Obituary
Custer Township
Gordon R. McConnachie, age 59, passed away Sunday September 28, 2014 at Covenant Health Care, of Saginaw.
He was born March 29, 1955 in Deckerville, MI the son of John R. and Edna R. (Sanford) McConnachie.
He married Miss Patricia Vogel on November 26, 1977 in Palms.
Gordy was a former employee of Jensen Bridge. He enjoyed riding his snowmobile, boating, and hunting. He also was an area farmer.
Gordy is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Custer Township; two sons, John A. (Hilary) McConnachie of Ann Arbor, Mark M. (Danielle) McConnachie of Deckerville, one daughter Katelynn McConnachie of Georgia; four grandchildren, Jacob Holka, Alyssa McConnachie, Adrian McConnachie, and Alec McConnachie.; two brothers, David (Sally) McConnachie of Deckerville, Michael (Gail) McConnachie of Deckerville; several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services to honor the life of Gordon R. McConnachie will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Srock will officiate. Visitation will be held 5:00 PM. until 9:00 PM. on Wednesday, and 2:00 PM. until 9:00 PM. Thursday. Friday from 10:00 AM. Until the time of service.
Memorials may be given to the Downing Cemetery Association, or American Lung Association.
