Janet F. Collin

Burtchville - Janet Faye Collin, 77, of Burtchville, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021.

She was born June 15, 1943 in Redford to the late John and Stella Bishop. She married James Collin on December 28, 1995 in Port Huron.

Janet retired from the Macomb County Friend of the Court. She previously worked for DTE, Hudson's Department Store and Target. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and painting.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, James; five children, Craig Hanby, Erik (Dina) Hanby, Kurt Collin, Corinne Collin and Crystal Collin; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dan Bishop.

Services will be held this summer.

Burial will be in Burtchville Township Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Water Hospice or Life Skills Center Memory Care Services.
