Lillian Darlene Camm Carpenter
Lillian Darlene Camm Carpenter, age 78, widow of Anthony Arthur Carpenter, Sr. died Friday, June 4th, 2021, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY. She was born in Croswell, Michigan October 16th, 1942, to the late Thomas Howard Camm and the late Ella Gilbert Camm Moran.
Mrs. Carpenter moved to Berea, KY just a year ago, coming from Lexington, MI where she was a very faithful member of Ave' Maria Catholic Parish, she was also a member of the Lexington Garden Club, and an active member of the Croswell High School Alumni Committee. Mrs. Carpenter worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30yrs at Southhampton Hospital in Hampton, NY. An avid traveler she cruised Alaska, and the Caribbean, visited Australia, England and all of Europe. She loved spending time with her brother, sisters, and friends especially hosting her Memorial Day parties.
Other than her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Camm and two sisters, Betty Lou Barbe, and Patsy Bennett.
Mrs. Carpenter is survived by two children, Anthony Arthur Carpenter, Jr., and his wife Virginia Bland, of Berea, KY, Laurie Darlene Carpenter of Cobleskill, NY. Her siblings, Linda Collins of Marysville, MI, Butch Camm and his wife Marie of Port Huron, MI, and Becky Schultz and her husband Ron of Marysville, MI. Three grandchildren, Nicholas, Chloe, and Jennifer Carpenter, and one great grandchild, Charles Edwards also survive.
Memorial mass will be 11:00 AM Monday, June 14th, 2021, at Ave' Maria Catholic Parrish 5366 Main Street Lexington, MI with Father Donald Eppenbrock officiating, inurnment will follow in the Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery 1209 Krafft Road Port Huron, MI. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Compassionate Care Center 350 Isaacs Lane Richmond, KY 40475.
