Lucinda Castillo Obituary
Croswell
Lucinda J. Castillo, 67, of Croswell, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in McLaren-Port Huron Hospital.
She was born November 9, 1946 in Alice, Texas. She married Robert Castillo on September 9, 1972 in St. Patrick Church, Croswell.
Lucinda was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Croswell and helped with meals and fundraising activities. She enjoyed dancing and loved baking and gardening, especially flowers.
She is survived by her husband Robert of Croswell; daughters, Yvonne (Jody) Sharrard of Port Huron, Yvette (Martin) Castano of Harrison Twp and Annette Castillo of Croswell; grandsons, Curtis, Collin and Corbin Sharrard; granddaughter, Yesenia Castano; mother, Francis Jimenez of Croswell; sister, Margie (Mike) Rosas of Capac; brother, Elias Jimenez Jr of Croswell and Sixto "Tito" Jimenez of Croswell; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elias Jimenez and her brother, Manuel "Meme" Jimenez.
Visiting hours are 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 31, at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
Mrs. Castillo will lie in state in St. Joseph Church, Port Huron from 10 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2014. The Rev. Jeffrey Allan will officiate.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs.Castillo/Lucinda, Thank You for being a wonderful human being. And I thank you even more for raising 3 beautiful Daughters! Without them, and especially Yvonne,for w/o her marrying my Brother Jody, I would not have the most wonderful three Nephews on this planet....Also, I would Never had the pleasure to meet u and get to know u as best as I did! May you Rest In Peace and please know that your remaining Family has very much support! Love, Christopher!!! I just wish I could be up there to support and offer my condolences to everyon:((
