Muriel Bressler Obituary

Muriel Ann Bressler

Muriel Ann Bressler was born on Jan. 6, 1919 in New York City to parents Juliet and Benjamin Leavin. She died peacefully on April 17, 2017. Muriel was an interior decorator in NYC for many years. She married her husband, David Bressler, MD (now deceased) in 1942.

Muriel was a worldwide traveler, an opera lover and had many artistic talents. Fourteen years ago Muriel moved in to University House in Wallingford where she has flourished and thrived. She enjoyed the lectures and the activities but mostly it was the residents and the stimulating and lively dinner conversations that she cherished.

Muriel is survived by her brother, Robert and her children, Jill and Steven and their spouses, Gary and Janet as well as five grandchildren, Jason, David, Jennifer, Isak and Saga and nine great grandchildren, Sydney, Daniel, Julia, Cody, Charlie, Bete, Charlotte, Brooks & Sofia.

All Muriels' family and friends will miss her dearly. She was truly blessed.

Free at last. Free at last.

A celebration of her life will be held this Sunday, the 23rd of April, 2017 at 1:00 PM at University House in Wallingford, 44th St. and Stoneway Ave N.

Flowers and/or donations are not necessary - just smiles and good vibes.
