Ronald Lee Randall

Fort Gratiot Township - Ronald Lee Randall, 71, of Fort Gratiot Township, died Monday, January 8, 2018 after a courageous, long life.

He was born September 24, 1946 in Port Huron.

Mr. Randall was a general foreman with Labor Local 463 prior to a disabling accident in 1976. He was a Staff Sargent in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, earning the Silver Star and Oak Leaf Cluster, the Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts and the Medal of Valor. He loved sports, hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and horses.

He is survived by a son, Todd Emanuel (Elizabeth) Randall of North Street; a daughter, Rhonda Lynne Randall of Fort Gratiot; three grandchildren, Rachelle Randall, Chantelle (Nathan) Manis and Ravin Randall; the mother of his children, Bernadine Louks; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Randall and Marilyn Randall; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Belmont W. (Irene) Randall; his mother, Janice (Wayne) Collins; two brothers, Charles B. and Dale W. Randall; and an aunt, Leone Parniske`.

Private services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Chapman will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fort Gratiot.

We are so sorry to learn of Ron's passing. We were friends of Dale and Marilyn Randall. Dale shared so much of his love and concerns for his brother. May they rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss, i heard so many stories about Ron, i use to see him when my mother was at Barass Home.I then had a face and knowledge as to relate who and what had happened.I was very sad to hear of him death.Sending hugs and prayers.

Prayers go out to Ron's family,Ron lived with my mother Nan back in 1976 I have great memories as a child,i will never forget i had a toothache and he drove me to his moms in the middle of the night to get medicine,I cried so hard when he was in his car accident,went to visit him several times at the hospital even took him for a walk in his wheelchair,may god give you strength at this time, shellie shaw
