Shirley E. Clay

St. Clair

Shirley E. Clay, age 75,  passed away August 2, 2015 peacefully at home after a long battle with brain cancer. She was born July 14, 1940 to Floyd and Marian Kenyon. She married Donald Clay on April 4, 1964.

Shirley enjoyed reading, baking, gardening and was a talented painter. She also enjoyed talking to people who came to buy pumpkins in the fall.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald Clay, son, Gerald Clay and daughter, Ann Marie Kliemann all of St. Clair. Her father, Floyd Kenyon of Adair, brother, Thomas (Suzanne) Kenyon of China Twp., sister in law, Carol (Fred) Kindsvater of St. Clair, grandchildren; Hillary Clay of St. Clair, Donald T. Clay of Philadelphia, PA, and Ashley Kliemann of St. Clair and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marian Kenyon and brother, Floyd Kenyon Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday August 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

DON AND FAMILY SO SORRY TO HEAR OF SHIRELY PASSING. NOW- HER PAIN/SUFFERING IS GONE.
