John Dobson Obituary
Snow Camp - John "Jay" Jeral Dobson, Jr., 56, of Snow Camp passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late John Jeral Dobson, Sr. and Ruth E. Dobson, who survives. He was employed in the tree service industry. Jay was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth E. Dobson (Carl Hamlett); two sisters, Tammy Fleischer (Warren) and Lee Ann Renegar (Michael); nieces and nephews, Wendy Matherly (Justin), Wayne Fleischer (Amie), and Shaine Renegar; great niece and nephews, Christopher and Chad Matherly and Wade and Kaydance Fleischer; girlfriend, Nicole Smith; four step-children, Caleb, Cody, Cassie, and Cole Smith; and beloved dog, Brown.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. by Pastor Brian Wardlaw with the family receiving friends immediately following the service.
