Joseph Simnor Obituary
He was born August 15, 1926 in New York to Robert Norman and Rose Ferro Simnor.
Mr. Simnor was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. He retired in 1999 from W.E. Love and Associates in Burlington.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Simnor, of the home; seven children, Joe Simnor, Maureen Miller and husband Ed, Matt Simnor and wife Maureen, Carole Kaprelian and Husband Ken, Lori Simnor, Patricia Getzendanner and husband Jay and Rob Simnor and wife Katherine; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Buttner officiating. Interment will be held at St. Leo the Great Columbarium at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Holy Family Catholic Church, 4820 Kinnamon Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
