Randy McPherson Obituary
Burlington - Randy Darrell McPherson, 63, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 11:24 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Bobby Darrell McPherson and Christine McPherson, who survives. He was a retired truck driver.
In addition to his mother of Burlington, survivors include a son, William R. McPherson of Burlington; daughter, Jessica Lawton of Roxboro; and five grandchildren, Makenna, Cheyenne, Nathan, Presley, Quort.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Johnathan Massey. The family will speak to friends following the service.

Randy and I met in late 1999, early 2000, we dated and then we were engaged. We dated long distance for a while, he lived part time with me in Huntington Beach, CA before he talked me into quitting my job in CA and moving to NC where we lived together in Cleveland, NC, and then in Burlington, NC along with my son. We trucked together running long haul. We never married but we remained close friends and spoke weekly via phone until he passed. He will be missed and loved.
