Madison Todd Obituary

Madison "Maddy"
Loretta Todd, 25, of Toc-
coa, Ga., received her
wings and transitioned
into eternal life on Thurs-
day, Oct. 16, 2025.
Maddy was born in De-
morest, Ga., on Aug. 20,
2000, daughter of Charles
Elton Todd and Shannon
Suzanne Burke Todd of
Toccoa, Ga. She was a re-
tail worker having worked
at Pilot and attended Pen-
nington Chapel Church.
Maddy loved the outdoors,
but her favorite place to be
was the beach. She will al-
ways have the sand be-
tween her toes and the
cool ocean breeze on her
beautiful face.
Her smile lit up every
room, she was fun-loving,
and had a heart of gold.
Maddy loved Vince's kids,
Waylon and Bella, as her
own. She will be forever
missed by her family,
friends, and all who had
the chance to experience
her presence. Her legacy
of kindness and compas-
sion will never be forgot-
ten.
In addition to her par-
ents, she is survived by
her brother, Charles Pre-
ston Todd (Ella Marie), of
Fort Mill, S.C.; nephew,
Charles Grayson Todd;
boyfriend, Vincent Keith
Groce; stepchildren, Way-
lon Groce and Isbella Va-
lerie Baulchum; maternal
grandmother, Kathleen
Fabrikant; aunts, Erin
Mendez and Erika Gushu-
lak (Dave); uncle, William
Burke; cousins, Mary,
Grace, Will, Griffin, Owen,
Claire, Katie, and Brooke;
and great-aunt, Bea
Williams.
She was preceded in
death by her maternal
grandfather, Patrick
Burke; and paternal
grandparents, Charlie
Todd and Marie Bailey.

I had only begun to get to know Maddy. But I can truly say I had already begun to love her. The last time I saw her I gave her a hug. I was so impressed how she cared for Waylon and Bella. An angel on earth and now in heaven. I pray God will comfort those of us left behind.

Todd, as I have know you from work, and Shannon where I came to know you too. My heart is broken. I have been where you are and there is no way to express the depth of the pain. It is almost difficult to catch your breath. Our only hope during a time like this is but to look for peace that passes all understanding. This only comes from Holy Spirit. I had only been around Maddy a very few times and had the pleasure of speaking with her. She was a special young lady, as all God´s children are. Please feel free to contact me as it is sometimes easier to talk with someone who has been there. In May God bless you both.
