Mr. William "Bill"
Harold Pulliam, Jr., age
79, of Leatherwood Drive,
Toccoa, entered into the
presence of his Lord and
Savior on Saturday, Oct.
18, 2025, at his residence.
A son of the late
William Harold Pulliam,
Sr and Faye Watkins Pul-
liam, he was born Nov. 14,
1945, in Stephens County,
Ga., having lived in
Franklin County, Ga.,
most of his life. He was
employed with UA Local
Union 72 as a welder from
1972 until 1989 working on
power plants and later
worked with Patterson
Pump where he retired in
2008 as a supervisor. He
was a member of New
Hope Baptist Church,
where he taught the
Founders Sunday School
Class, served as a deacon,
choir member and on the
cemetery committee. He
was a Gideon with The
Gideons International,
Stephens County Gideons
for 15 years. He and his
buddy, Marvin Fulbright,
enjoyed going to the flea
market in Pickens, S.C., af-
ter he retired. He loved
racing at Toccoa Speed-
way and loved riding mo-
torcycles with the Born-
Again Riders from New
Hope Baptist Church.
In addition to his par-
ents, he was preceded in
death by a son, Billy Joe
Pulliam and by a brother,
Fred Pulliam.
Survivors include his
wife of the home, Janie
Ivester Pulliam; daughter
and son-in-law, Michelle
and Alan Davis, of Toccoa;
sisters and brother-in-law,
Helen and L.M. Smith, of
Eastanollee and Barbara
Pritchett, of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be
Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, 4 p.m.
at New Hope Baptist
Church with the Rev.
David Sosebee officiating.
The following gentlemen
will serve as pallbearers
and should assemble at the
church no later than 3:30
p.m., Roger Adams,
George Guest, Donald Kei-
th, Daniel Ivester, Larry
Mealor and L.M. Smith.
Rob Norris and Charles
Wills will serve as hon-
orary pallbearers.
The family will receive
friends at the New Hope
Baptist Church on Friday
from 1 p.m. until the ser-
vice time at 4 p.m. Online
