Jaden Marshall Picazo, age 13, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024 at his residence. He was born October 18, 2010 in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
Jaden was a member of Nelson Chapel Baptist Church. He was an 8th grade student at The Johnson County Middle School where he was captain of his football team and proudly wore the number 48. Jaden loved double decker chocolate moon pies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, being outdoors, and spending time with his friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Michael and Heather Murphy and Jacob Picazo; grandparents, Steve Isaacs (Millie), Darlene Hicks (Dwayne), Dave and Patty Johnson, Mike and Karen Murphy, Carol Jenkins and Brian Roberts; great grandparents, Harold and Linda Bunting and Ed Isaacs; aunts, Deana Isaacs, Katlin Mink, Julia Lipford; uncles, Brantley Isaacs and Shannon Murphy; all of his school friends and members of his football team, his best buddy, Bob Rominger; yard sale Patty and many cousins and a host of family. His dogs, Titus, Oscar, Ellie, Gemma and Ringo also survive.
A funeral service will be held for Jaden on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 7 pm in The Charles B. Hux Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Mike McNutt officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 pm - 7 pm prior to the funeral service.
Honorary pallbearers are The Johnson County Middle School Football Team and Coaches.
The family would like to express a special thank you to The Johnson County Sheriff's Department, Johnson County 911, Mountain City Police Department and Johnson County Rescue Squad and EMS.
Monetary donations may be made to Hux & Lipford Funeral Home to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
