Funeral services for Addie Redfern McQueen will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2014, in the Chapel of White Oaks, 6324 Masonic Drive, Alexandria, LA 71301 with the Brother Kenneth Holloway officiating. Graveside service will follow in the Tioga Cemetery of Tioga under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Addie, 72, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on August 6, 2014, in her residence surrounded by family and friends. She was born on September 19, 1941 to the union of Lee Barker and Paralee Belgard Barker. She was retired from the Pine Crest Development Center as a supervisor after serving for 22 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Faye Barker, Hazel Haynes, Myrtis Thompson, and Dempsy Clinton

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving family, two sons, Bill Redfern (Devona) and Gary K. Redfern (Dana); three daughters, Kimberly Redfern, Cynthia Setliff (Nathan), and Phillis Tyler (James); one brother, Clouis Barker; niece, Elva Mae Curry; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be Kenneth L. Redfern, Eric M. Redfern, Nathan M. Setliff, Jr., Nicholas M. Setliff, Chris Waites, and James Tyler.

Visitation will begin Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 5 p.m. until service time on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of White Oaks, Alexandria.
