Debra Brazell LaCroix

Services for Debra Brazell LaCroix will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Craig James and Chaplin Clyde Grammon officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 9 PM Monday, April 25, 2011 and from 8 AM until time of service at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Interment will be at Heard Cemetery, Manifest under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Debra, 58, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 at her residence.

Debra was born July 13, 1952 in Charleston, SC to the union of Scott and Inez Brazell. A life long resident of Catahoula Parish, Debra spent her life fixing her "Ladies" hair and had worked at Catahoula Correctional Center. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Scott and Inez Brazell; and husband, John A. LaCroix.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Autumn Pecanty and husband Zane; two step daughters, Tina Barnes and husband Mike and Traci LaCroix of Ridgecrest; sister, Donna Neal and husband David; brother, Scott Brazell and wife Terry; grandchildren, Kolton and John Tyler Pecanty, Rachel Matthews, Jesse Cockerham and Ashley LaCroix; one great grandchild, Nathan Matthews.

Pallbearers will be Nash Neal, Kyle Neal, Matthew Brazell, Larry LaCroix, Jacob Matthews, James Lee, Darrell Chadouin and Francis Bordelon. Honorary pallbearers will be David Neal and James LaCroix.
