Donald Hayes Obituary
Services for Donald Ray Hayes will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Alexandria with the Rev. Eugene Stevenson offficiating. Burial will in Holly Oaks Cemetery, Pineville under the direction of Boyce Community Funeral Home.
Mr. Hayes, 63, of Alexandria, passed away November 17, 2014 at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Deedie,
I'll miss opening the door and looking out to see you walking to the corner and back, You're already missed. Each time we talked we went back to the days when life was simple, our growing up with so many that have gone on, now you have left good memories for all of us in the neighborhood. I'll remember whenever I open the door now that you are no longer here and realize that you are simply resting in peace.

I remember Donald Ray as a fond warm neighbor who was very caring of this neighborhood. He always greeted you with a warm hello and a smile. We will all miss his presence in this historical neighborhood. The history goes way back to great grandfathers and great grandmothers, grandfathers and grandmothers to mothers and fathers to children.God bless you.And remember for this to shall pass.
