A great and wonderful man has passed on sadly and will be missed always and especially by me. I have a lot of good memories of knowing him at the Oakdale Bible Baptist church where I too was a member for so long in the past. Mr. Fred Monk is in a better place now and one I am sure that he has been looking forward to experiencing. My deepest sympathy goes out to all family and friends that morn his loss at this time. May God bless you all.

To Mrs. Violet, Ricky, Gwen, Brent - I know the loss of your great husband and wonderful Dad is a difficult and painful part of your lives. As I remember him he was a loving, caring, provider for his family. He was what we all hope and aspire to be - friendly, helpful, dependable, loving and honest. I pray that God, and He will, comfort, encourage, strengthen you all through this most difficult period of your lives. My sister, Lynda also wishes to express her condolences and she is also in prayer for your family.
