Glenda Parker Obituary
Funeral services for Ms. Glenda Ann Paulk Parker will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Pastors Murl Tyler, Dobie Perkins, and Brady Dodge, officiating, respectively. Interment will be held at Vick Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Ms. Parker, age 43, a resident of Racine, Missouri, formerly of Vick, passed into eternal rest Tuesday, May 17, 2011 after losing her battle with cancer.
Survivors include two sons, Clark (C. J.) Walter Parker, Jr. and Joshua Lynn Parker, Clark Parker, the father of their children, her parents, Dewey and Lizzie Paulk, her second parents, Ronnie and Sally Parker, brothers and sisters, Murl Tyler, Jr., Alvin Tyler, Arnold Tyler, Henry Tyler, Jessie Paulk, David Paulk, Nicie Paulk, Darren Parker, Shyann Parker, Anniemae Clark, Arline Desselle, and Rhonda Dos Santos Parker and a host of extended family and friends.
Vistitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2011 until funeral service.
Pallbearers for the funeral service will be Alvin Gaspard, William Gaspard, Albert Wayne Gaspard, Murl Tyler, III, Michael Gunn, and Donald Gaspard.

Words cannot express the sadness I feel. Glenda was an extraordinary person, who went above and beyond the call of duties in her life. She will be greatly missed. It's not good-by, but it's see ya later.
