Jean Brunhoeber Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Jean W. Brunhoeber will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Heritage Baptist Church (formerly Air Base Road Baptist Church) in Alexandria, Louisiana with Reverend Vance Curtis and Reverend Joe Sharp officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Brunhoeber, age 86, of Pineville, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Tioga Community Care Center, Tioga, Louisiana.
Mrs. Brunhoeber was a member of Tioga Independent Baptist Church. She retired from Kroger after 18 years of service, retired from Montgomery Wards Department Store after several years and worked for Kress Department store downtown Alexandria as her very first job.
Mrs. Brunhoeber was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart "Papa" Brunhoeber, a son, Rodney Wooley, a grandson, Justin Brunhoeber, two brothers and her parents, Elmer and Manerva Reeder.
She is survived by 2 sons, Lightle Wooley (Kat) of Alexandria, Gerry Wooley (Cheryl) of New Iberia; 2 daughters, Vestia Brunhoeber of Wichita, Kansas and Sherry Morace of Ball, La.; one brother, Shirley Reeder (Norma) of Baker, La and one sister, Bonnie M. Atkins of Dayton, Ohio; 16 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Brunhoeber will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 10:00a.m. until service time at Heritage Baptist Church, Alexandria, La.
