Lyn Bolen Obituary
Evelyn Genell Bolen of Alexandria, died May 1, 2013, at the age of 87.
She worked many years for the Louisiana Baptist Association.
Genell was preceded in death by her husband W.R. "Bill" Bolen, her son Kenny Bolen, her Parents Harvey and Lavada Walker, and Brothers Charles and Ray Walker.
She is survived by her brother Lynn Walker And wife Jane of Opelika, Alabama; son Cliff Bolen and wife Carolyn of Ball; daughter Lorena Viviano and husband Bert of Centerpoint; son Bill Bolen and wife Betty of Piano, Texas; and daughter Mary Jo Iovino of White, Georgia; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Baptist Temple Church on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Temple Church.

My heartfelt condolences to the Bolen Family. Mrs. Genell was one of the sweetest and compassionate ladies I ever met. I visited with her about 3 months before Kenny died. She was in great spirits and that is the way I will remember her. She will be missed. She, Mr. Bill and Kenny are all together now and at peace. God bless you all.

Mama Bolen you were the best birthday gift Kenny could have recived. You were a wonderful mother to my husband . I am glad y'all are at peace together love your daughter in law Sissy
