Some of my happiest teen-age memories are being with my friends at Clubb's Skating Rink. My condolences to her family.

Clubb's skating rink was a safe haven for many young people. Mrs Clubb expected and received high standards of behavior from the kids, thus, she was by far one the most well-respected women in our community. Those of us who were there the first day the door was opened on the rink, will forever be grateful for her tireless energy. For such a small woman, she stood tall and strong to all of us and we shall never forget her.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I have such wonderful memories of spending my Friday and Saturday evenings at Clubb's skating rink, I was taught to skate there and still cherish the memories of all the hours spent there and all the friends made there. The Clubb's were wonderful folks and again my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Pat "Edwards" Gordy

I grew up on Kiwanis Rd and was a regular at the Rink. I went to school with Melba, Gary, and Marvin. Mr. and Mrs. Club were both such wonderful people. My sister and I learn to love them and their children like family. But, I believe it was because Mr.and Mrs. Club, always made us feel special, as they did most everyone. When I Visit Tioga to this day, I pass that rink and have such fond memories. I do now and I always will. My love to the family and my condolences. Rhonda "Hagan" Rayburn. Longview, Texas

My heart goes out to Ms. Clubbs family as this time of sorrow. I spent many weekends at Clubbs Roller Rink when I was a kid. I was a true regular there. Helped out behind the counter when needed. The memories are great!! Rest In Peace Ms. Clubb.
