CSM Bott was instrumental in the success of one of Louisiana’s biggest success stories - the Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program. In its earliest days, we worked hard to find our way and CSM Bott’s contributions cannot be overlooked! As we grew from one program at Camp Beauregard in Pineville to three programs across the state, his leadership in the early days was crucial. Not only did he impact kids, he impacted all of us who worked for and with him. He touched many lives and we should all be grateful to him for his service to our country and our state! My deepest sympathy to his family!
