Steve was the epitomy of what life and how people should always be. Although it has been many years since i have seen steve, i see that he is/was the same steve we all knew and had great times with in high school so long ago. You will be sadly missed by all. May God bless you! M.A.D.

Steve, You were always a good friend to me and I know that I and everybody else you have ever met will miss you as well. You're in a wonderful place now but you were too young to leave us. You are loved.

Steve was a very good friend to us and will be remembered for his jubilant personality and big heart which always resulted in a jovial atmosphere to those in his presence.
Our most sincere condolences for Steve's son Beau, (who we met in 2003 in Port Harcourt), his wife Gail, (we have not met), and to his brother Zarko, (more than a close friend and business partner, the bond was formed many years earlier with Universal Catering, my old & close friend)
Steve & Zarko were like a household name in Warri and Port Harcourt, and visiting them was the same as taking a short break from the realities of Nigeria.

Thanks to all of you for your messages. I was hesitant to go to this website because I wasn't sure I could handle it. As it turns out, all these loving words about Steve did not make me sad. It brought joy and true comfort that so many people knew and understood my husband so well. Please include me in your prayers, because right now I honestly cannot envision my life without this amazing man in it. Again, thank you.

Poppa Steve came to my rescue on many different occassions for many varied reasons during my time in Nigeria. My daughter's fondest memory of him is her Sweet 16 birthday party his company catered. He was the type of guy that this world needs more of...someone you could depend on to lend a hand, a shoulder or whatever you needed. To the family, we share the sorrow of the loss of this great man.
