Angel Inez Lamb Chesser, 83, passed peacefully while holding her husband's hand on November 15, 2025, at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. Born April 10, 1942, Angel was known for her kindness, loving nature, and gentle spirit.

She dedicated 20 years of her life to the Pleasant Valley School in Penn Valley Calif. She left a lasting impact as the school Librarian. Angel was passionate about reading and art. She and her husband enjoyed traveling across the US serendipitously in their old 70 Monte Carlo. Angel spent the first 25 years of her marriage living adventurously throughout the world following her husband's military career and raising their children as a stay at home mom. She studied Art at Northwestern State University, Natchitoches LA. Angel was a true artist and taught art in Tokyo Japan. Numerous pieces of her work still hang in many military homes throughout the country. Angel was beloved by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Ed; daughter Veronica Deason (Dave); son Edward Chesser (Yoko); daughter Kristina Vanderhoof (Sam); sister June Mauer (Tommy); brother Richard Lamb (Evelyn). She was a cherished grandmother to eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her daughter DeAnna Erickson, brother Jackie Lamb, and her parents Helen and Rollin Lamb.

A memorial service for Angel will be held later, allowing friends and family to gather and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Angel's memory can be made to Shriners Hospital and Sammies Nifty Thrifty. Angel's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her husband Ed, their family, and community will be remembered forever. Our Angel Mom was extremely special.
