Eureka, CA. He was born in Scotia, CA., Humbolt County to Guy and Miriam (Fraser) Cloney. Larry was very proud of growing up among the Giant Redwoods, in the little town of Meyers Flat.

where they raised their two sons, Richard and Patrick.
Larry worked for the City of San Jose for 30 years before retiring and moving to Fresno and working for Cal Trans for another 8 years. Larry and Terry moved full-time to their property in Lake Wildwood in 1998.
Larry believed deeply in volunteerism, so for many years he picked up food from the different grocery stores for Interfaith Food Ministry as a driver. Many times, with his grandchildren as helpers.
