WILLIAM TRANT

12/2/1949 – 9/15/2024

William Michael Trant, 74, passed away at Golden Empire Nursing Home on September 15, 2024. Will was born on December 2, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio, to John and Grace Trant.

When he was seven years old, his family moved to Buena Park, California.

At twenty-five, Will moved to Grass Valley, establishing himself as an expert precision silkscreen printer. He enjoyed working on cars, especially British and early Japanese vehicles. He loved camping in the redwoods, swimming and fishing in the Yuba River, playing guitar, and being around family and friends.

Will is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jack. He is survived by his wife Cindy, brother Jim, sisters Peg (Earl) Jamgochian and Mary (Marc) Rankin, and many nieces and nephews, who all loved him dearly.

Knew Will for several decades, he was always an upbeat guy, with a great sense of humor. He demonstrated his great talent to me with the design of a 4x8 ft. sign for the "Sundance" restaurant. We will miss you my friend.
