Joyce Moore 84, of Bristol, passed away at her home Tuesday, October 30, 2018. She was born May 7, 1934 in Salisbury, Missouri, daughter of Robert and Beatrice (Keithley) Peveler. Joyce was homemaker and a United States Postal Carrier for 15 years. She enjoyed traveling, painting, photography, canning, gardening, biking, skiing, ice skating, hiking, but most of all spending time with family and friends. Joyce was involved in school, church, city, and state politics. She believed that actions speak louder than words. When her children moved to the four corners of the country, she traveled to make sure she they knew she was a part of their lives and also shared many years making close friends in Arizona. Nothing was more important to her than family. She had a positive effect on everyone that she came in contact with, and she will be truly missed. Joyce is survived by four daughters; Lynda Moore, Jeannie Russell (Mike Dobbs), Janet (Jeff) Simonson, and Beth Moore. Eight grand children, 11 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 40 years, Thomas, a brother, Robert (Zoe), and a grandson, Caleb. Funeral services will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dieterle Memorial Home, 630-897-1196.

To the family and friends of Joyce Moore, I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Joyce personally, but from reading this obituary I can tell she was loved by many. Her faith in a higher power must have been evident by her works. James 2:17,18. I pray that the God of all comfort be with you at this difficult time.
